Special Classes

We explored seeds and collected seeds in our habitat for this lesson created by a committtee of Master Gardeners.

 

 

 

                                                                  


 

We examined different bulbs and planted spring bulbs around the rocks. We also planted paperwhites in different mediums to see which would grow the best. We had beautiful indoor flowers in two weeks. The best growing paperwhites were in gravel.


 

 

 

In March 28, 2011 our students studied local wildflowers, made wildflower seed tapes to be planted in the spring, and found the location of wildflowers in our Woodland Habitat.


 

 

 

 

 

 

On May 16, 2011 Kathleen Boyd presented Amazing, Incredible Insects. This program is a CCAC South Campus Nature Trail In-School program.
